Our learners thrive in a rigorous yet supportive environment where academic growth is deeply personal. Our 14 Advanced Placement (AP) Courses challenge students to think critically and prepare for college-level coursework. With collegiate pathways or early college academy, scholars can earn college credit while still in high school, launching their futures with savings and momentum.

Whether on stage, behind the curtain or with an instrument in their hand, our scholars are creating magic. With award-winning theater, band, choir and orchestra programs, CHISD nurtures talent and expression, empowering students to build confidence and creativity.
Athletics that Build Champions
Athletics in CHISD is about more than just winning — it’s about heart, discipline, and community pride. With over 1,100 student-athletes and 36% of our secondary students participating, our programs help scholars grow as leaders while bringing home state and regional titles in football, basketball, volleyball and more!
